In-School Residency Programs (Grades 4-9)
- Public speaking lessons with lifelong benefits helping students use their voices, engage an audience, share their opinions and ideas, and communicate effectively for presentations/speeches/interviews/networking.
- 5 day curriculum-based in-school residency program for Grades 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. (Five 40-45 minute lessons per student. Half days or full days.)
- Five simple steps (Prepare, Practice, Pace, Position, Present) taught using small groups, whole class discussions, interactive games & public speaking activities. Each grade level has different activities and final presentation project.
- English Language Arts, Social Studies and Health outcomes with rubric created by Alberta teachers. (*Curricular links in elementary using Alberta's new curriculum under English Language Arts & Literature and Physical Education & Wellness.*)
- Customizable program to fit school schedule.
